Common questions
Why does Pulse need microphone access?
Pulse listens continuously in the background to detect your name, alert sounds, and other important audio events. All processing happens on your device. Audio is never recorded or transmitted.
Does Pulse work without an internet connection?
Yes. Pulse never requires an internet connection for any core feature, since all inference runs on-device.
Can I adjust which sounds trigger alerts?
Yes. Alert types, haptic patterns, and notification behavior can all be changed at any time from Settings inside the app.
Is my data collected or shared?
No. Pulse does not collect usage data or transmit audio. See the privacy policy for full detail.
